Cap & Scarf |
Overview[]
Cap & Scarf, also known as the winter chapka, is the second-highest tier of chapkas. They can be upgraded from the Coat using 5 Winter Fur and 4 Blue Thread. The Cap & Scarf is the second-highest tier of cold protection, able to withstand the winter with occasional fires.
To get the Winter Fur and Blue Thread required to make Cap & Scarf, players have to travel to the top of the Winter, making it a common item to have before fighting the Dragons, though it is not required.
Cap & Scarf can be upgraded into the Fur Hat using 5 Winter Fur and 10 Mammoth Fur.
Tips[]
When farming the Winter Fur for the Cap & Scarf it's recommended to:
- Make a fire and circle around the fire while hitting the animal. When your cold bar is full, leave the fire and attack in a straight line. When attacking, do not constantly attack because you move more slowly while attacking. Attack a bit, rest a bit, and repeat. Stay near the fire when you get cold!
More Information[]
With the Cap & Scarf, players in the Forest lose no cold during the day, and only 1% of their cold bar every 5 seconds during the night.
In the winter, players with this item equipped during the day lose 4.5% of their cold bar every 5 seconds (about the same as Earmuffs in the Forest at night); while during the night, players lose 7.5% of their cold bar every 5 seconds (about the same as the Coat in the Winter during the day). This vastly increases the distance players can travel and allows for obtaining more Diamond and Amethyst.
The Cap & Scarf negates 72% of the damage from Blizzards.
The Cap & Scarf used to be the highest tier of chapkas before the "Bizarre" update. Now, it can be upgraded into the Fur Hat.
