Mammoth Fur is an item dropped by Mammoths and Baby Mammoths upon death.
Overview
After you kill a Mammoth, it will give you 5 Mammoth Fur, while a Baby Mammoth will only give you 1.
The only current use of Mammoth Fur is to craft Fur Hat, a item used to reduce the amount of heat that you gain, even making you warmer.
More Information
Mammoth Fur was added into the game in the "Bizarre" update.
