Overview

Piranha Scales (or simply Scales in-game) are dropped by GMO Piranhas and Krakens, both of which are found in the ocean biome. They were added in the Vamos a la Playa update. Piranha scales can be used to create the diving mask, which allows the player to swim for longer by giving cold protection, and reduces oxygen consumption when in the water. They can be used to make a Boat, another way to cross the ocean. Piranha scales are also used in crafting the super hammer, which is the highest tier of hammers.
