Shields

Overview

The Shields are weapons that are used to reduce the damage received from the player. Each one of them has the same defense as damage, and it is determined by their tier. If they are tier 1 (wooden shield) they do 1 damage. If they are tier 2 (stone shield) they do 2 damage and so on.

Shileds are more effective against bows. In fact, if you wear a gold helmet or higher combined with the corresponding shield, you take no damage at all from that bow.

Tips

Use them only when in danger. Also, their effects stack with the helmet effects, so make sure to use them always when in low health.

This is the lowest tier of shields. It can be crafted with 100 wood. It can be upgraded to a Stone Shield. Wooden shields have 1 damage, 1 player defense, and 13 bow defense. It can be crafted with 100 wood.

This is the second tier of shields. It can be upgraded to a Gold Shield. Stone shields have 2 damage, 2 player defense, and 17 bow defense. It is crafted with 50 wood, 100 stone, and 1 wooden shield.

Golden Shield

The Golden Shield is the 3rd shield teir. it can be upgraded to Diamond Shield.

Gold shields have 3 damage, 3 player defense, and 21 bow defense. It is crafted with 50 wood, 50 stone, 50 gold, and 1 stone shield. It can be upgraded to Diamond Shield.

Diamond Shield

The Diamond Shield is the 4th shield tier. It can be crafted with 50 stone,50 gold,

50 Diamond, and 1 gold shield. Diamond shields have 4 damage, 4 player defense, and 25 bow defense. It can be upgraded to Amethyst Shield.

The diamond shield is enough powerful to neutralize damage of some arrows, and combined with helmets it can neutralize some of mob damage.

Amethyst Shield

Amethyst shield is a 5th tier shield that can be upgraded from a diamond shield. It can be even further upgraded into a reidite shield. Amethyst shields have 5 damage, 5 player defense, and 29 bow defense. It is enough powerful to neutralize damage from many arrows, and combined with helmets it can defend player a lot.

Reidite Shield

Reidite shield is the final tier of all shields, blocking most damage. It can be upgraded from the amethyst shield, and cannot be upgraded further. Reidite shields have 6 damage, 6 player defense, and 33 bow defense. Combined with an amethyst helmet, it can neutralize damage of a wooden sword. Combined with a lava helmet, it can neutralize damage from wolves and golden spear.
