Winter Hood |
Overview[]
The Winter hood is a higher tier of hood. With the winter hood, players receive a better timer for stealing and are able to steal from players wearing the Peasant's Tunic (still cannot steal from players wearing the Winter Peasant's Tunic, however). It is also warmer than a chapka, though not as warm as a winter scarf and cap. It gives the same blizzard protection as a chapka. The winter hood was added in the "Sounds Good" update.
One of it’s crafting components is a black wolf fur. This item can only be obtained by completing a quest: players have one day (8 minutes) to go to the winter, and they have to survive there for four days. This is one of the hardest quests, as you do not have time to make a book, bag, or coat. You need to place several roofs to survive the blizzards, and you must constantly stay near a fire. Unless you manage to get farming equipment, you will need to live on polar bears and arctic foxes.
When the winter hood is equipped, players can steal from anyone that is not wearing the winter peasant's tunic. Stealing is only possible at night in the darkness (away from a fire), and once every four seconds. Being hit prior to stealing or missing the hit will force the player to wait four more seconds.
Wearing the winter hood hides both the player's skin and name.
